Have you ever felt you didn’t measure up or perhaps you struggled with self-worth? It can be easy to do when we look around and see others with “better” jobs, nicer houses, kids who behave better or are smarter. The world plays the comparison game and it’s easy to succumb to it. Oh, but God declares us as His handiwork (Eph. 2:10) and there’s a great saying, “God doesn’t make junk!” What changes our perspective is where we focus. When we walk by faith, not comparing ourselves but seeking what God holds for us and when we listen to how special we are to God, we realize we are God’s chosen. We are royalty (1Peter 2:9)!!!! Our hearts hold God’s love. Nothing is better than that.
